Question Racks are discolored& won,t drain
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FDB956RBCO
Age: 1 - 4 years

The racks have gone very dark to even black, well water with softener.
Dishwasher will fill, wash, but not drain. Stainless steel front Can the racks
be brought back to life? What would keep it from draining?

There is a dishwasher cleaner called Glisten.

Here is the part number. PS55198.

I don't know if it will work in your case but give it a try.

If the dishwasher is not draining there could be something in the sump blocking the drain pump or the drain pump may not be working.

Do you hear the drain pump?

Here is a link to your dishwasher model FDB956RBC0.
