Pump continues to work after cycle is complete- can't turn off. I tried pressing front panel buttons but washer will not respond. Only way to stop pump from working was to unplug from outlet. I plugged into the outlet again and still no response from front panel buttons and pump continues to run again

pull dishwasher out from wall and lean back put a towel on floor about a 1/2 pint
of water will drain out this is the pump is on it thinks there is a flood mate.
