Default Pump Squeals NO Pump pressure
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: MDB421RFR1
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi all , Ive dissasembled dish washer unit and found CLUTCH corrosion ( Motor to impeller) .
To get this part I have to buy Whole assembly ! $150 + . My Question : Can I just
silicon this clutch "solid" ( fill with GLUE ) . So Blade spins ( wont slip ) with motor ?

I would not do this
Especially if you are not sure the motor has overload protection
If the impeller jams for some reason, the motor will overheat and could cause a fire
Most dishwashers do not have a clutch but do include an overload cutout

Hi , Thanks for your input ! The Motor is Thermally Protected .

You can give it a try, but I don't think it will hold.

I would give it a try by the sound of it you have nothing to loose

Epoxy or automotive RTV should work.
Dishwasher soap is pretty nasty stuff so you need something that is chemically resistant
