Question Pump Seal Leak
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GLD4100M00WW
Age: 1 - 4 years

Noticed water leaking from beneath dishwasher. On close examination noted it was spraying out from shaft between motor and pump. I assumed pump seal and pulled out motor/pump unit to examine it. Not certain how the pump portion can be disassembled?

Removed the outer retainer ring and see the cutter blade on shaft but what's next? Appears the pump assembly is somehow two plastic half pieces glued together?

Parts manual, note replacement of entire motor/pump unit at a pricey amount. Anyway to get into it to just replace a bad seal?

Any part numbers needed is also appreciated. Thanks much.

There is an impeller and seal kit available for your dishwasher.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model GLD4100M00WW.

Make sure that the housing is not crack.
