Unhappy Only CANCEL, AIR DRY, & DELAY buttons work
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: GU1500XTQ0
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hello,
My 5-year old dishwasher's keypad selectively stopped working. Only the RESET, AIR DRY and DELAY buttons function and light up. The machine won't operate, other than drain for 2 minutes. About two years ago, the touchpad panel started to detach, so I used silicone-type adhesive/sealer to re-attach it. It worked fine until now. All the ribbon cable connections behind the touchpad seemed fine when we took it apart. Do you have any advice about what part needs to be replaced?
Thank you....irene

You may have a faulty control panel or loose connections from the control panel to the control board.

Check the wiring connections in the door panel.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model GU1500XTkQ0.
