 Not pumping water and spinning arms Brand: Maytag Model Number: mdb4100 Age: 5 - 10 years
The dishwasher arms are not spinning, i am assuming because there is not enough water pressure to move them. i think i may need a new pump or motor (are they the same?) it's about 8 years old. am i better off getting a new dishwasher than paying to have it repaired? how much does a new pump or motor cost? also, there is a loud noise, kinda chugs along. it does fill with water when you advance the knob, but it's not at high pressure, the water just kinda falls out, doesn't spray. |
