Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KDI21
Age: More than 10 years
The disherwasher is not heating nor drying. There is a coil sticking up in the back of the bottom of the dishwasher tub near the black coil. Can anyone tell me what that part is and how difficult it would be to replace myself?

I believe it is the water heating element assembly kit but I could be wrong. Please advise before I purchase the wrong parts.
