Default Not filling all the time
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: ZS719510B
Age: 5 - 10 years

This machine does not fill all the time.I checked the water inlet valve the best I could.I cleaned the filter screen and checked the selenoid for continuity and got a reading of .81.I also cleaned the float switch that operates the micro switch.Could the problem be either the water inlet valve or the timer switch on the door? Sorry could not find any info on this Model Number so am guessing

Also is your solenoid reading 0.81 ohms seems very low
Are you sure it is not 0.81 kilohms

I would double check the float switch itself, the float sometimes leaks, it runs down onto the switch and solidifies into lime deposits on the switch's button

Please remember this is a guess
I cannot see it being any thing but the solenoid or the timer
Since it is intermittent, it is a pain
Personally I would replace the inlet valve first
And if that does not fix it then the timer

But I am basically cheap and patient when it comes to fixing stuff

The best way to check, and see if the timer is sending voltage to the water valve is, take the two wires off the water valve, and stick your meter leads in each of the ends of the wires, and cam the timer around, and you should get a voltage reading if the timer is good. I can be reached at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
