Default Not enough water being used
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDB6100AWQ
Age: 5 - 10 years

My parents have a Maytag MDB6100AWQ and recently, they have found that the dishwasher is not spraying enough water to clean and rinse the dishes. Can anyone suggest a link/site or steps on troubleshooting to find if it is the water pump or something else? Also, with this dishwasher being over 9 years old, would it be best to replace the faulty piece and basically, patch repair the dishwasher if any more problems happen or would it best just to buy a brand new dishwasher?

Thank you for your time.

How much water is in the dishwasher after it is full and you hear the water shut off?

Is the dishwasher louder than it use to be?

Here is a link to your dishwasher model MDB6100AWQ.
