Not enough pressure

During the cleaning cycle the pump? was making a loud noise. When I checked it there was nothing stuck. The next time I ran the dishwasher there was no loud noise and the top rack was not clean. I noticed when I opened it while it was running there was no water coming out of the top spinner. Any ideas?
