At the end of a cycle there is about 1/2 inch of water left in bottom. I used a shop vac to empty it out and clean the screen. I ran another rinse cycle with the same results. Why is it not pumping it all out? Is there something to clean or replace?

That amount of water is normal for dishwashers. There's water left because when the pump stops the water in the drain line runs back down It keeps the seals from drying out too.
