Default No water- upper arm
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FDP750RCS0
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have exactly the same problem as LarryE on page 3. I have little or no water coming out of the top funnel. I have also done what he has done plus I Can not find any obstruction what so ever. I have flushed the line to the top in both directions, I am also wondering about the check ball? Thanks.

Check the wash impeller.

If you have broken any glasses in the last while there could be damage to the impeller.

This would cause lack of pressure.

The check ball seldom cause trouble.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model FDP750RCS0.

Same problem here. Impeller looks fine. Does entire pump need to be pulled to replace impeller?

Upon much deciphering I found that the water alternates from one arm to the other (both arms do not spray at the same time) this is cantrolled by the pump pausing, which is controlled by the electrical current sent to the pump, this current is controlled from the timer which is really the main brain of the dishwasher. I put a new timer on and PRESTO! she is fixed. Cost about $95 plus shipping
Let me know how it goes.

I'm mad now; I tried to figure it out and gave up. How does the pausing pump alternate spray? It would have to change either direction or speed to move the check ball up or down the ramp. Either way my ball is staying out cause it works great with both arms always moving.
Thanks,
Murf

Murf, I don't think the pump pauses as much as it speeds up on a mini cycle to give more pressure to push the check ball up and supply the upper arm. I think the word pause is a little missused. Seems to me there could be a better design. I have not tried mine with the ball out I just wanted to get going and be done with it! Though it seems if the ball was not in there it would cut your pressure in half. Anyway I appreciate the response, life moves on!
