Unhappy New gasket - dishwasher still leaks
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: dw860w
Age: More than 10 years

have replaced the long door gasket but it is still leaking out the front right corner. Actually seems even more water now. Have been reading the other threads for other models but not sure how this may relate to this brand and age of dishwasher. Thanks
for any help.

Additonal info: just replaced lower spray arm, spray nozzles, spray arm support, and insulation strip on lower part of door. Took apart and cleaned filter assembly and filter screen and air gap cap and screen. Could not get float to come off, but when pushed down did hear solenoid click. Now it is leaking all across door not just in right corner.
Thanks for any help. Getting frustrating now.

Where is a the water level in the dishwasher?

If it is above the heating element it is to high.

The float should move very easily you should not have to push down on it.

Remove the lower panel to access the float switch assembly.

There is a nut on the shaft of the float.

Before you remove the nut mark the shaft so you know how far to put the nut back on.

Remove the float and clean.

Also check the upper spray arm for cracks.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model dw860w.
