Default New Bosch Dishwasher a bit unsure of itself
Brand: Other
Model Number: SHE45M02UC
Age: Less than 1 year

I recently replaced my older bosch 68 series dishwasher with a new 500 series model SHE45M02UC. The new one is cleaning fine but seems rather unsure of itself when switching cycles. For instance when it switches from filling to circulating it starts circulating for a second then switches back to filling for a second and then back to circulating. When it switches to draining it flip flops between draining and circulating at least 3 or 4 times before it finally settles on draining. Is this the expected behavior of these newer models or is mine a little batty? I can't think of any reason this would help cleaning and it certainly seems like it's just going to wear out all the various parts 3 times faster by all the extra switching of cycles.

In a general sense this is the same dishwasher with almost identical parts and technology as my old one and yet my old one was quite sure of itself when switching from one cycle to the next.

Can anyone confirm that this is normal with a newer bosch?

Thanks,

Alex.

That does not sound normal but I have not seen any of the new Bosch product.

You might want to call your salesman and see if this is normal or book a service call.
