Question Nautilus leaking when Filling
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: Nautilus
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hello,

I performed a search but did not find anything relevant to my problem.

We woke up the other day and ran the dishwasher. After it was finished, my wife noticed some water coming from under the dishwasher. I removed the front panels and ran the dishwasher to see what was going on.

The machine runs fine, but immediatly starts to leak while the water is filling (spraying sound) and immediatly stops when the machine stops filling. I cannot see where the water is coming from, as there is a shield blocking the view.

I did not want to pull out the dishwasher until i had some parts available. Could it be a simple seal?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

thanks,

John

Can you please provide the model number of your dishwasher?

The model number can be found on a tag on the side of the dishwasher where the door closes.

Check the line that goes from the fill valve to the inlet on the side of the dishwasher.

The model number is:

GSD3220F00BB

I cannot see the source of the leak with the dishwasher installed. I was hoping to have parts onhand when i pull it out from under the counter.

thanks

Try a small mirror and a flashlight to locate the leak

There is a plate covering up the area that is leaking... I cannot see it with a mirror either.
