I have fitted a new inlet valve which is now letting the water in however it is now overflowing at the pressure chamber/metering tank. I have probably connected something up wrong or lost an o ring. any ideas should there be a seal/o ring between the metering tank and the pressure chamber.

Can you please supply your model number?

It should be located on the tub of the dishwasher where the door closes.

I have stopped the leak it was an incorrectly fitted micro switch. but now I have the original problem with no water entering the washer. COULD IT BE THE PRESSURE SWITCH.

Check to see if the float is moving freely.
