OK... I am trying to install the new pump/motor!
What I need to know is HOW do I get the old piece out? I have shut off the electric and the water and drained the dishwasher! The part I have is PS973499 from your company! Can I do this whole installation from the inside of the wash except for the water hose hookups?

Any help would be greatful!

You have to remove the bolts securing the wash motor and drip shield.

Once the bolts are removed turn the motor counter-clockwise until it stops about a 1/4 turn.

Pull the motor straight back from the sump assembly.

Some effort may be necessary to dislodge the motor.
