Default MDB9750AWS Control Panel
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDB9750AWS
Age: 1 - 4 years

My posts aren't showing up in this thread:

Partselect.com - Maytag Appliance Parts And All Brands of Appliance Parts

I have model #MDB9750AWS. I ordered the part mentioned above...quick delivery, and install. Looks great!

However, just got around to doing a load and I noticed that the buttons are different. The old part (and manual) have a option for additional rinse, the new panel replaced that button with "Heated Wash". Doesn't make sense because both boards have another button for "160 Wash". Additionally one has a cycle for "quick wash" the other "insta wash".

Looking at the boards insides, both have a 916944 number on them, but no mention of the actual partnumber 99003208. The old pannel has a Rev M on it, and the new one Rev N. Parts select and Whirlpool both say this is the only and correct part.

How can I get a Rev M panel? What happens if I select the "heated Wash" Option?

Andrew

Because this is a parts problem you should contact Costomerservice@partselect.com and they will be able to find out if you were sent the wrong part.

Good luck with this, just went through a whole ordeal with Whirlpool that now owns Maytag. They have no idea either what is going on with this control panel. They say it is the right replacement . Sent them photos , emails, etc. , etc. Now 6 months later still waiting for a reply. I was also told the new buttons will work but not for the what is worded on them it will work as it did in the past. You just have remember what they were. Great way to spend 80 bucks. Let me know if you have any luck in your situation as I am still waiting.
