Red face Maytag trouble
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDBH975aww
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hello, I have a Maytag dishwasher that started giving me trouble 2 days ago. It would only allow me to use the Normal cycle and the Rinse cycle all other buttons would not work. The next day I had it running on the Normal cycle and in the middle of the cycle it jumped from Normal to Insta wash cycle. And last night I tried to get it running and when I pressed the Normal cycle button it would light up the Insta wash cycle. This morning no buttons will light up but when I push the start button the Insta cycle lights up and starts. Is there a way to test the circuit board to see if the panal is going out. Please send any information if anyone has had to deal with similar problems. Thank you for your time.

It is most likely the keypad is shorting.

Because the dishwasher will run through the cycle that is lite this is tell me there is nothing wrong with the circuit board.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model MDBH975aww.

Unhappy Myatag Legacy quiet series 300

I bought my Maytag Legacy series quiet series 300 model 2 years ago. The pushbutton control panel in the front just stopped working. After a few times pushing the buttons the entire panel quits working. If I wait a while , some of the lights will light up. None the less .... the darn thing quit working.... absolutely nothing but a light on the keypad once in a while.
I called Maytags repair people from the web and am waiting this morning for the repairman.
Any ideas or comments?
Thanx!
Ed
