I have a maytag dishwasher that is 4 years old. When I start the dishwasher it fills with water (as it should) and then the pump starts to spray water to begin the wash cycle(as it should). However, within three or four seconds in the wash cycle, the spray (wash cycle) stops for 15 to 20 seconds and then the wash cycle tries to go again but stops again within a few seconds... this process will repeat several times until all the lights and the diswasher completely shuts off.

I don't think this has anything to do with this problem, but I just replaced the door latch and this issue started just prior to me replacing the latch.

I've seen this very same problem posted by others, but have not seen any solutions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the unit is looking for a sensor input probably water temp
