Default Maytag leak @ the float
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: mdb6000awb
Age: 5 - 10 years

HELP!
My Maytag leaks water around the float stem while it's running. The parts blow up drawing does not show or indicate any kind of a seal and i don't see when after taking it apart.
I can't find anything broken but it leeks.

The float may be sticking allowing too much water in the dishwasher.

The water level should be at the bottom of the heating element.

If the water is over the element there is too much.

The plastic tub has a raised portion to form a post and hole to support the float, you might have a crack down at the bottom of it.
