The detergent cup opens (I have replaced the wax motor and latch) but only partially, sometimes not at all. The detergent cup door spring seems to be kind of weak(?)I looked at PS143326 (the door) but I can't tell if it includes a spring, or if that's really the problem. I also saw a cam and larger spring in the parts list (PS138766) here but I don't know if they are the problem.

Any suggestions?? Thank you!

Hi, the full number is MDB4050AAW. I think the problem is with the cup spring. Do you by any chance have a diagram of how that spring in installed? It seems like the short bent end slides into a channel in the hinge, but the larger bent end doesn't seem to be applying much force to pop the door open. Thank you for your reply.
