Default Maintenance Tips for dish washer

For best results, when loading the unit, make sure the dishes do not block the spray arm. Mineral deposits on the heating element can easily be cleaned with a little vinegar diluted in water.

One of my friend says that she does the above technique as a routine and her dishwasher doesn't give her any problem.

I was told also to never use the liquid gel detergent to always use the powder. And from time to time put a cup of vinegar in with a cycle. That will help keep things cleaned out and ensure cleaner dishes with less buildup or streaks.
