Just moved into the house of my dreams and everything is going wrong!!
The Kenmore dishwasher worked great for the first three tries. Today, however, the blinking green light on the front panel (Lets you know the cycle is complete and to empty the dishwasher) does not go out. Pushed cancel and that tries to drain the machine (that is already empty) But that little green light still does not go out.

Sears can come out on JULY 10th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Meanwhile I have tons of dishes and kids to feed and I know this has to be some minor little thing I have missed.

The former owners did not leave any manuals. Also, a local repair guy can come tomorrow but charges a minimum of $100.

Try turning the breaker to the dishwasher off.

This would be in the main house panel.

Leave it off for five minutes this may reset the board.

If it does not then the board will likely need to be replaced.

If a Whirlpool dishwasher, you can reset the computer. Open door push high temp. scrub then energy saver dry within 3 seconds, then repeat this, then close and latch door and hit reset. If not try this with similar buttons. Please post results.
