Default Leaking on rinse cycle
Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: hsd2504j01ww
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi, i had not used the dishwasher for 3 months and when i used it the first time, water was all over the floor. The times after that it just leaks a bit under where the motor is, and only when cycle changes. I would like to know if i must replace the whole motor/pump or if i can just add some sort of sealant/silicone. I have a picture to show the exact area of the leak. I think it is GE picture but you will see the area i mean. It is the black part (i don't know what the part is called exactly exactly)
Thanks for your help.

You may be able to fix it with silicone sealant.

You will have to take it out and see if the housing is cracked or if is is the seam that split.

Here is the pump assemble wd26x10013 for your dishwasher.
