Leaking Drain Valve Seal - GE dishwasher Brand: General Electric Model Number: GSD5130D01WW Age: 5 - 10 years I've got a leaking drain valve seal. The fix I've been told is to replace the seal itself, but in order to do that, I need to remove the push-on nut that holds the shaft connected to the drain valve.
My question is, what is the proper way to remove the push on nut without destroying it or the shaft? One resource on the web says to cut it off. Is this correct?
