Angry KitchenAid Whisper Quiet Ultima "soil sensor"
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KUDC25CHBT1
Age: 5 - 10 years

In normal wash mode there are 3 cycles (pre-wash, wash & final wash) It fills up with water during the first and second wash stages. Then the soil sensor light turns on for a quick second and briefly turns on the motor and spray arms(2 seconds). It then immediately drains the tub. It does this for the 1st & 2nd wash stages only. On the 3rd wash stage, the soil sensor light does not come on at all and it washes fine. However, the 3rd stage is not enough to thoroughly clean my dishes. Do I have a bad sensor?
