Cool Kitchenaid part no. for sump seal (gasket??)
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KUDP01ILBL3
Age: 1 - 4 years

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Two questions:
1. my dishwasher is leaking from the bottom of the sump, I believe at the sump seal gasket since I can see little droplets of water coming out of the plastic Sump tab just underneath the seal - is the seal replacement relatively easy procedure? It doesn't look too difficult...

2. The part number from KitchenAid manual states part #8268395 is the Seal, Sump (item #13 in the parts diagram). On PartSelect web site, when I search the KUDP01ILBL3 Sump Seal, it brings up the same manufacturer diagram item #13, but with part #PS392943 calling it a gasket (OK, so that's the PartSelect number right?).

But, when I click on the actual part web link, it brings up a different model dishwasher
ModelNumber: DU1020XTLQ0
PartDescription In this Model: GASKET
Part Location: #13

So, is the part PS392943 "gasket" correct for my KUDP model?

Thanks, Paul

It is not a hard job to replace the seal.

Yes the PartSelect part number is PS392943 for manufactures number 8268395.

The gasket is use on a number of different makes and models.

That is the correct part number for your dishwasher.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model KUDP01ILBL3.
