The unit no longer heats the incoming water nor does it dry the dishes.
I opend the door through all cycles and determend the heating element is not hot. I would like to trouble shoot the system befor buying new parts.

The new heating element comes with a controll board . I would like to test the existing element and also the thermistat.
Can you send me the proceidure or is this a comon problem which I should simply replace the parts?

You can check the resistance of the element you should have between 10 and 35 Ohms.

The thermal disk will either be open or closed. Closed is good.

You can check to see if you are getting 115 volt to the element.

In some of the dishwasher this has been an issue and that is way they are sold together.
