We moved into a house not more than a month ago and the dishwasher began making a buzzing sound after the machines runs for about five minutes. It goes through the sensing cycle and then starts to buzz.

Any ideas what the problem is and is the machine worth fixing.

Maybe another bad bearing.
Does the buzzing start just as the wash cycle begins?
Just after filling the tub?

The buzzing starts 5 minutes after starting the machine during the sensing stage. Water fills the bottom of machine and then the buzzing starts. It almost sounds like it is coming from the door, if that is possible. It is a shame because the machine seems to be a pretty good unit. Is is worth to have a repair man come out look at it?

I have same buzzing at the same time and we think it has to do with the soap dispenser.....I can find a part for it but don't know how to install.......it looks like the entire door has to be taken apart......our is 11 years old and has been working perfectly since we bought it......never had a repair person here so we are thinking we got our money's worth out of it.....but as someone said it is otherwise working perfectly.......well, one other thing.....the stuff that you put in the rinse part for hard water doesn't work anymore but we never really filled it a lot anyway........any insight from anyone would really be appreciated.......Kitchenade is a fabulous product........at least in dishwashers anyway.......our friends say that anything over 10 years is a gift......what do ya think?????
