The lock light is no longer blinking it is on steady now. There is still no response from any of the buttons. Any ideas what could be wrong with this?

Have look at the technician sheet that should be in the panel below the door.

This may give you a test sequence that will tell you what is causing your problem.

I have the same problem, which is how I got here. In my case the "quick rinse" and lock buttons blink in tandem. A few button combinations cause only one or the other to light continuously on it's own, but any attempt to start the machine starts the two blinking in tandem. And, no, it is not simply a stuck lock button. Interesting to see that replacing the board is not a solution, which will save me the trouble of trying that.

Hello, I own a Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher model 665. The Lock On light continues to flash red. I reviewed the manual following the instructions of the NO HEAT DRY 'lock button' to hold for 4 seconds to Unlock but this has not worked. The Lock On Light continues to flash red and I'm unable to start a wash cycle. I checked the fuse and all is good. I'm trying to determine if I should just go ahead and call a repair service person. As I've tried all of the suggestions offered. Did you have to get a repair person to come out to resolve?
