I did find the wiring diagram thank you. I double checked the terminals on the board and all the wire colors match up to the colors on the board. Here's a question for you I purchased the replacement board from appliancepartspro.com. When I recieved the board it was in a plain box in a small piece of bubble wrap. I was under the impression that circuit boards are to be packaged in anti static wrap is this correct and where do I go from here?

Not all circuit boards are static sensitive. Most of the boards for major appliances are not static sensitive.

If the board is static sensitive it will be wrapped and also come with a warning to wear a grounding strap.

You will have to contact appliancepartspro.com to see how they handle there parts problems.

What is the part number of the board that you received?

How did you order the board as I could not bring your model number up at Appliancepartspro.com?

What is the part number on the original board out of your dishwasher?

If they did not use your exact model you may have receive the wrong board.

The reason I asked about the static sensitivity of the board is that the wiring diagram under the dishwasher had a warning about ESD damaging the board when replacing it. It said to touch the anti-static bag to a ground before opening it and use a wrist strap when installing it.

The part number of the board I recieved is AP3775964 (8564542) the part number of the origional board is 8528172. I did contact APP about the packaging of the board and they said they don't have anything to do with the packaging it comes staight from the manufacturer that way but they sent me a new one and that one didn't work either.

When I ordered the circuit board origionaly I think I used the part number from the old board.

If you have power to the board but no lights on the display I would have to say that the display panel must not be responding.

Are there any light lit at all.

Check the ribbon cable for breakage.

When you measured the voltage on the board was it P8 and P7 that you measured between.

Have you tried putting the original board back in the dishwasher to see what happens. If you still have it.

No I do not have any lights.

I checked the ribbon connector and found no breakage.

Yes I checked for power between p7 and p8.

I just tried putting the origional board back in and nothing happened. When I removed the board to change it I noticed it was warm on the bottom in the area of the capacitors C4 C5 C6 C7. I don't know if that means anything its just somthing I noticed.

It really sounds like the problem is the control panel.

Because at one point you said that that have the panel lit.

It is highly unlikely that three boards would have the same fault.

Try unplugging and plug the ribbon connector back in a couple of time to see if it will light.

The wire are color coded and so is the board.

The wiring diagram can be found in the bottom panel of the dishwasher or stuck to the bottom of the tub in an envelope.
