Default Just replaced pump, still not draining
Brand: General Electric
Age: 5 - 10 years

If anyone can give me some advice, I'd appreciate it.

My GE dishwasher won't drain properly. We just replaced the pump/motor assembly and it is still not working like it should. Drain hose is clear. It actually seem to work OK if I take the drain hose from its usual spot and allow it to drain into a bucket. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I think there is something wrong with the pipe the drain hose goes into, I just don't know how to check it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

What is the dishwasher drain hose connected to?

If it is connect to a food waste disposer there may be a blockage in the unit connection.

You would need a plumber snake to check the drain.
