Unhappy JennAir DW door won't register closed
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JDB8910AWQ
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have an older JennAir DW (JDB8910AWQ) - it won't register that the door is shut. If I press really hard on the door, it will start. Can anyone tell me what I need to replace?

You may not have to replace anything.

It may be that one of the switches on the door latch has become loose.

The latch could be out of adjustment.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model JDB8910AWQ.

First you will have to take the door apart to see if it is a loose switch.

Then it is just a matter of tightening the switch back in place.
