Default Intermittent fill problem
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KUDS25
Age: 5 - 10 years

Fill valve does not always open when it is supposed to during the Fill and Rinse cycles. Originally thought it was not opening at all, replaced valve, found it cycled through and figured it was fixed. Problem returned. Checked voltage to valve and found it does not always get the 120V signal to open. Valve works fine when it get the voltage. What can cause the intermittent problem? If it is the control module, is it worth replacing?

Complete model number - KUDS25SHAL1

Can you please give the rest of your model number? As kuds25 is just the first part of it and it will not show control panel.

It is not likely to be your control. Usually the control works or it doesn't.

It could be in the wiring harness. The most likely spot is were the wires go down through at the bottom of the door.

You would have to trace your wires and test them.

Here is a link to your dishwasher KUDS25SHAL1.
