Hi Folks!

I exchanged the motor/pump and the relais earlier today with new parts. After I put everything together, I started the dishwasher.
The water flows in. The machine hums but no washing at all.
The motor or pump never start to work.
I didn't attache the lower metal cover to see if anything is leaking. While I was laying there with a flashlight looking for water dripping, it smelled as if something would burn and I saw a little bit of smoke. Not sure where it came from.
The relais got changed as well.
Now the dishwasher tub is full of water again and I am back at square one.
Very frustrating.

Does anybody have an idea, what the problem might be?

Which area did the smoke come from?

Are you getting power to the motor?
