Default GE GLD6700NBB Quite Power 3
Model Number: GE GLD6700NBB
Age: Less than 1 year

Recently, my dishwasher just won't seem to shut. The door latch doesn't seem to be latching onto anything. I would assume, obviously that there was something. I have no idea where it went or how it might have broke. Is this a part that is replaceable? Is it easy to fix? I can't find much of anything on these topics. Help is appreciated.

*EDIT* It seems that the plastic piece in the door broke away from it? Do I have to replace the inside half of the door?

The pieces for the door latch are available.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model GLD6700NBB.

If your dishwasher is under one year old it is still under warranty and should be serviced by a technician so your warranty will not be void.

Check in your manual or with the store that you bought it from for an authorized service center.
