Washer drains ok 2-3 times if I cycle it or even short cycle/reset cycle. Hoses and drain are not clogged. I have used citric acid/vinegar soak to clean/lube seals. Motor runs, wash pump works ok drain pump pumps except when it decides to just growl and not drain. When doing reset timer makes several knocks knocks at end of cycle. (don't know if that is normal) Washer timing/control mechanism still under warranty.

It sounds like there may be something in the pump that is jamming it every once in a while.

It could be something like a small bone or a toothpick.

You may want to take the pump off and check it.
