Red face Frigidaire dw leaking from heating element nuts
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: GLD3450RDS0
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi,

My dishwasher was leaking, so I pulled it out and found the leak coming from the nuts underneath that fasten the heating element. I tried tightening the nuts, but one of them gets tight, and then loses its grip again even as you tighten it. I've sent away for new nuts, is that right? Aren't there some kind of gaskets or something I could put in there?

Thanks, Mindy

Once you have the new nuts that should solve your problem but you can use a little silicone sealer.
