Default Fisher and Paykel Drawer Won't Close
Brand: Other
Model Number: DD605
Age: 5 - 10 years

We have the double drawer, stainless steel unit, it is about 5 years old. The top drawer won't slide, it hangs up on something on the top of it. We found a piece of white plastic or nylon in the drawer...looks like a washer or piece of something else. Does anyone know what this might be? I can't find an exploded view of all the parts for this unit, does someone know where I can see that at? Thanks in advance for your help.

the lid yoke is either not connected or it is broken, sounds like yours is probably broken. happens a lot during installation if the installer was rough with it. if you have a DD605 it will definitely still be under warranty and is a simple fix.
