Default Fills and drains water but nothing else
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FDBL955BB0
Age: 5 - 10 years

My dishwasher will fill up with water, sit for a while without doing anything then drains. This happens with each cycle. Any idea what the problem is?

Check for an obstruction in the wash impeller.

Check to see if you are getting power to the wash motor.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model FDBL955BB0.

How old?
Most times the dishwasher with this complaint and being4 plus years old has a broken or loose wash impeller. That impeller is NOt replaceable. One need to install the complete assembly as new style motor out.
IF you want to replace part yourself, it's a no brainer. BUT, read the instructions first.
