Default Faucet hose adapter hotpoint
Brand: Please select
Age: 5 - 10 years

A friend of ours gave us a portable hotpoint potwasher that we think is 5 years old. There is no service tag or model # that we can find. He got this when he bought his house and all he knows is that it works and is in good shape. We have an older house and the faucet does not fit on the double hose connecter. We got a dishwasher faucet adapter size outside (male) 55/64", inside (female) 15/16". package says to thread onto faucet and snap into dishwasher hose. The adapter male side is the same diameter as the hose connecter. We've been trying to find something to fit but it seems to be odd sized. Please help tired of doing dishes by hand!

Sorry but do not understand the problem.
Have never seen a portable that threads on, to connect it.
Should be a quick connect.

Did you get the metal adapter the fits into the dishwasher hose connector for quick connect/disconnect
Should look something like this

Did you remove the aerator from the faucet?
And the quick connect will not thread into the faucet?
Therefore you need an adapter?

Your Hotpoint was probably made by GE.

Default re adapter

Thanks for responding. The adapter looks exactly like the pic you sent. The problem the part that snaps or quick connects doesn't fit into the hose. The parts seem to be the same diameter. Is the a smaller one or do I need something specialized? Thank you for the diagram for finding the model # it was in a odd place. The model # is HDB827G-01WH. I'm trying to find the owners manuel online. Again Thanks, any suggestions would be helpful.

Call the manufacturer or go to an appliance parts shop that services this brand.
Take the one you have so you can compare it to the new one, best way to be sure you get the right one.
