every internal part of dishwasher including baskets has brownish stain. i have tried to scrub it down. made some headway but it stains up again quickly. now seeing slight stain on white plates. otherwise everything seems sparkling clean.

could it be use of CASCADE TWO IN ONE ACTION PACS???

Sounds like you have iron staining
May be coming from old pipes or it may just be normal in your water.

Try draining some water from your hot water tank. Use the drain or the pressure relief. Let it run till it is clear.

Can clean it by running a cycle with citric acid available from appliance and some hardware stores. May have to do it on a regular basis.
Have heard of people using Tang crystals but have not tried this.
Also some people run another cycle after the above with a cup of bleach added to the water.

I would try a different detergent as they can react differently with the iron, reducing the staining.
Perhaps someone else has experience and can give a recommendation.
