Ok...here's the continuing story. I bought a new mother board [ #11 (ps974101)] and installed it. When I turned it on I had the same problem I mentioned in my earlier thread. Only the Delay and Cancel buttons do anything. The number 2 comes on and it sounds like it is trying to drain. I put some water in machine and it is draining. I interrupted this with cancel and tried the other cycle selections and they came on. I ran a Quick Wash cycle empty to see if all was normal. It was. Yea!! After it was done, I tested it again and I back to where I started. Only the Delay and Cancel work. Adding water does nothing this time to change the settings. Help!!

If you have a separate keypad with ribbon cable, try cleaning the cable end with a pencil erasor, if no effect replace the keypad.
