Inquiry:
I called GE in order to find out if I could replace the front panel of my black
dishwasher with a stainless one, per instructions from Home Depot and Lowes, but GE said that the only panel colors available for my GE model: GSD2200G02BB are black, white, and Bisque. I was watching a make-over show and the designer actually purchased a piece of stainless or aluminum (I am not sure) and glued it on the existing face of the dishwasher for a "face lift". Is this possible? If
so, where can I find the material for a good price and what type of adhesive can
I use? Please help!

I don't know of any places that deal in stainless steel but if you looked in your yellow pages you might find one in your area.

I would think that this would be rather expensive because you would have to have it shaped like the panel that is on the dishwasher.

You might think about getting a paint that looks like stainless steel and try that.
