Question Door Latch Handle
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDB6600AWW
Age: 1 - 4 years
The latch handle broke. I replaced it with the proper one and now the door will not close and latch. The dishwasher will program and run with the door open

Check the installation of the handle.

The dishwasher should not run with the door opened so there is something wrong.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model MDB6600AWW.

Parts Select shows the latch for this model as NLA, does anyone know where I can find one?

I just bought the latch and handle parts at this site and put them in yesterday. They have the parts for Matag , model mdb6600aww
