hi i cannot change the color of my silver dishwasher according to the manufacturer i was wondering if there is anything i could do to change the door to black i cannot afford a new one and all my other appliances are black any suggestions would help thank you.

You could take the piece off that you want to be black and take it to a auto body shop.

I have had somethings painted black at a body shop and they turn out great.
Ask if they can do it sometime when they are painting something else black.

This way it may not cost as much and they will be more willing to do the job. It would be a pain for them to set up just to do your one piece, but if you can wait until they do some other black parts it may not cost all that much.

Maybe even bring a black piece off of anther appliance that you want it to match.
