Default Diswasher not draining water from tub-leaves about 3 inches
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GSD4020204BB
Age: 5 - 10 years

This model is covered under the recall but we've never used the rinse so we should be fine although may use the rebate to buy a new one. Everything seems to work fine except the water will not drain from the bottom of the tub. I can run the reset twice and it will drain it so I know it's working in theory, just not as designed. I checked the hoses and they are not clogged. I took off the filter at the back of the inside of the tub and there is a small valve with a sort of washer that is very well worn, but I don't know if that could effect it or not. I cannot find any other cause. I I replaced the disposals earlier this year, but after running it one time with the plug still in, figured out that problem pretty quickly so that's not it. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Chris

I have had this same issue. I got tired of messing with it so I have stopped using mine completely. I didn't know that there was a recall... Thanks for the information! I think I will see if we qualify and just get a new one!
