Default Dissassembly help, please
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: DWU9200AAX
Age: 5 - 10 years

Good day...I've removed the lower spray arm & support nut and filter, etc, but can't get the upper discharge housing to come loose. It rotates freely, but won't lift off. What am I missing?

Your help will be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance.

David

go to Whirlpool Parts Online and enter you model number. Download the tep file and then find the pump. Everthing you need to know will be available.
It comes apart and you can get to the bottom by removing the impeller screw.
It things are wet VACUUM all water up before pulling impeller.
If you must get to the seal and just because you are curious, keep fingers etc off seal face(s) or you will encounter a good nasty leak weeks down the road.
I PROMISE!!!
I am a tech in BC and have nothing to do with PartSelect....they are faster at supplying parts than the lookup site I gave you
