Default Dishwashing/no water
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDC4100AWE
Age: 5 - 10 years

The dishwasher will not fill up with water. I hook it up to the facet in the kitchen but no water will flow. I can take a bucket and fill the tank and it all works fine after that but no water comes through the hoses.

If the dishwasher will not bring in water in any position on the timer then it is your fill valve or a bad wire to the valve.

This is located under the tub on the left side.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model MDC4100AWE.
